Discovery Communications Buys TreeHugger.com for $10 Million

Discovery Communications Inc. has purchased the environmental website TreeHugger.com for $10 million. The companies announced the deal today. The website will be part of Discovery's Planet Green initiative, which will include a TV network with 24-hour programming dedicated to living a green, environmentally-friendly lifestyle.
